I think friend list should be removed because, the people use following list like they added people and follower list like they added back. Almost nobody uses friend list. Also, there's people that don't know about the friend list.

I can't remember a different reason for it than for the stat tracker privacy: http://cheese.formice.com/settings to control who can view it. + Looking for your friend on the leaderboards. Maybe people don't use it, but I don't see it as a reason to remove it. Does it break something or does it annoy you somehow? Something that isn't used now can be used in the future for something important. Maybe Sourdough has some plans with that It's been on the site for a very long time. I don't say it's something we need, but that's still not a reason to remove a feature Sourdough was working on.

I kinda use this a lot, since I wanna see how my "friends" are doing and I don't wanna type every different name :/ So let this stay and not remove it
I use it sometimes, but anyways, its Not annoying anybody, they can ignore it like it was just an empty case.
I'd say it should be made more known. thats the problem really with it. no one knows about it and I just have sabs
Thanks to this thread I found out about this functionality. I didn't know it existed. Although it's nice to be able to keep track of your friends, it perhaps would be more useful if there was an option to see stat changes rather than the default leaderboard.
I don't think you should really kill the friends list. I use it all the time, and I know most of my friends do. I also whisper loads with all my friends, so typing in the name of one every time I'd want to chat will get annoying, therefore, getting people frustrated with tfm.

I don't see anything wrong with it..I mean sure it's not that useful but why remove it? It's a good way to keep track of your friends' stats eue I only have..umm..5 people added to it lol
