It can be annoying when you get a soulmate which just started playing. Then he/she starts draging you somewhere (possibly in a wrong direction)... He/she starts trolling and won't let you back into hole... Or You get a troll mate. You know what I mean... So it should just be like /soulmate <name of the mouse> and you pop up being with him. But of course, there should be something like a question or something if the mouse You want to be mate with agrees with this. EX: /soulmate Irakiss *pops a window saying: <someone> wants to be your mate. [Accept] [Decline]. Every comment is welcome.
there is a way to chhose a soulmate, its an indirect way though, you both leave the room then reenter it, generally you will be soulmates then. I'm against this idea because what are new players going to do? they will spam trying to be soulmates with the pros in the room, to make this even slightly plausable you would have to figure out a limit of some kind
This could work, but only if the command can be done any time, during any map. Also the setting should be remembered until the player either chooses a new soulmate or one of the two relogs. Nice idea though ^_^ edit: also if no preference is given soulmates should just be assigned as they are now.
Eh no thanks. This would be one huge hassle, you'd be spending more time clicking away requests and switching partners than you would be playing. Plus, as already mentioned, noobs would get stuck and everyone would simply request to be partners with the same dude. I kind of feel that the point of the soulmatemaps is to meet new people and learn to play with them.
Nah srry no support because you might get lots of requests and you will have to click and click and click
and we might have to wait till everybodys paired up and that will take a while and people will get bored if you take too long
I think it's fun getting partnered with somebody random and you'll never know what you get. Even though there should be an option for mice who have both been added as friends to be priority as soulmate.
its whoever came into the room last for the most part, so its not really random, you will see friends leave a room and come back at the same time to be partners, its a trick better players use to get other good players
I think this is bad bad idea. 1st. This will take to long, the automatic shall cover this for us. 2nd. All those people choosing at once shall cause bad lags for other players.
