    What is this about?

The feature listings were taken from the respective threads, either 1:1 or in compressed form. If something specific should be added let me (or someone who can edit it in) know.

There is at least one other external map editor (whose source i could not find) and there might very well be others. If you know of any and think they should be included, make a post. I would not mind if someone with executive power on the forums would take this thread over. I think it should be stickied either way (or linked to in a new superthread; there are too many sticky-threads as is, aren't there?)

i think someone (offended maybe?) posted his map editor on reddit

I never knew Baffler made an editor. Anyway, I get the point and its a good idea to bring more attention to the EME. I could stick this topic, but I don't like the first post organisation. I would preffer some short introduction without drama, then links to the editors threads/downloads in order:
    Stalky's
    ..
    Enigmice's (MAC-friendly)
    ...
    Baffler's
    ...
Where ... is short list of cons and pros/features ;p

That introduction was only meant to be temporary to illustrate the point to moderators like yourself. I now updated the first post since you read it with the schema i had in mind.

Well, since I'm suggesting using external map editors to anyone that aks me for some more advanced techniques I will make this thread sticky for now...
