    Great thx!

In map editor go to map settings and set gravity to negative value like -10.
Also read the FAQ and dont spam, you are warned for your post.

    Hello, I'm making a soulmate map;

Is it possible to make a mouse spawn on one side of a block and the partner on the other?

    I'm thinking it probably isn't...
  5. Kalafior Guest

    You are right here ;p
Well you can make one team separated this way - the shaman one.

  6. Oaix Cheese Enthusiast

There is a way but it's extremely complicated and uses phasing. I made one map w/ it a long time ago, but I couldn't get any game-play value out of it afterward.

And for reasons where there's probably no reason to split the partners, don't try it XD

Ok, so yeah, one of my maps (@291672) was deleted, but the thing is, it only got 27 votes it doesn't even have a percentage score. was a mod abusing their power or what was going on? <___>
  8. Kalafior Guest

Deleting bad maps is not a mod abuse and this map is not too good ;p
  9. Pugwishbone Noobie Mouse

really now? what made it so bad to the point it should be deleted? I'm sorry, but are you offended by these types of maps? is it against your moral code or something to play on it?
  10. Oaix Cheese Enthusiast

If Kala said it was a bad map, it's most definitely a bad map. Would you like to argue against me, too? Take a screenie and post it here, or better yet, in the "Critique My Map" thread.

It's in there, somewhere on the second to last page, that's probably where the deleter found out about it.

And tbh it's kinda ridiculous that a mod would do that for that reason, it's not his or her choice to delete a map if it's bad in their own opinion, isn't that the reason that there's the voting system? I think so, I'm pretty sure that the mods are only granted that ability only because if the map is offensive, like something explicit, and my map was not explicit at all, and this is why I think the mod was abusing their power.

Hmm. Okay, but I have a question...
How can I map in a non-cheese? (Survivor map)
  13. Kalafior Guest

I siaid that it's 'not good', but also not bad. It's a decent map with things bouncing around to finally release locked mice. Shaman is locked in a cage with cheese and hole so the whole time the bouncung happens hes spammed with "you cannot enter if there are mice left" and it takes like 30 sec alone. The gameplay value for the shaman and mice is close to none because shaman cant move and mice, after released, can get cheese in like 3 sec.
[edit: found the map image in the critique map thread :p]
I personally wouldn't delete this map, but, as you can see, there are reasons for this choice.
    • blocked and useless shaman
    • shaman spammed (with help fo the trolls for whole 2 minutes)
    • well shaman can releade mice with spirit, but I dont actually know if its intended, anyway spirits are unaviable in the hard mode
I understand that you put some effort in the design so the bouncing is working as intended, but the map isnt aesthetically pleasing and the gameplay value is oscilating around 0 ;p

    I don't understand your question :p

How do you make items appear later than the time the map just started like Map 61/60
  15. Kalafior Guest

It's simple - you just have to be the game developer.

  16. Oaix Cheese Enthusiast

Kalafior, I think he's asking how to make a map with no cheese.

    Simple answer as well:
Hack :D and get banned ofc.

How to disable all the red anchors of a map using a timer?
    I've tried this method :
Make an IF ground that is small (10x10), make it dynamic, set its linear damping to 9999, select fixed rotation.
Place it in a location where it could not be quickly and easily reached and put red anchor in its centre.
Create another ground above it that is dynamic. Adjust distance and linear damping of it so they touch (disabling red anchors) on desired moment. Keep in mind that making the distance too small may result in connection before the red anchor is spawned and nothing will happen.

it only disable red anchors created after the timer, red anchors made before timer finished are not disabled.
    thanks for help!

If you touch the objects with a red anchor, they will disappear.

A question about bootcamp making. Would it be better not to export it (since obviously it will be voted off regular rooms immediately) and instead just paste the XML so then you don't waste cheese? Or when the map is put in bootcamp, will that automatically take away cheese as if you'd exported it? ... Wow that was a confusing sentence. [IMG]
    Try this:
What would be the easiest way for confirming the map, getting it in bootcamp and anything spending cheese wise, exporting the map or not?
  20. Jigglypuffs Cheese Enthusiast

No i mean cause one of the custom map has a hole in it so most of the mouse drop down into the hole. Suddenly balls that are red anchored appeared above us and we got trapped
